BOOKS
Checked out for 2 weeks. Can be renewed by bringing them in or calling the library with the date due and the author.

MAGAZINES
Checked out for 1 week. The most current issues are non-circulating. Back issues of magazines are kept for 5 years.

CASSETTE TAPES
We have over 580 listening books on tape and can be checked out for 2 weeks. We also have an additional 40 titles on lease each month.

VERTICAL FILE/PAMPHLETS
Collection of materials on a broad range of topics arranged in alphabetical order in a file system. List of topics is located on top of the file. Materials are checked Out for 1 week.

REFERENCE MATERIALS
Most can be checked out for 1 week (This includes encyclopedias). Materials that cannot be checked out can be photocopied.

VIDEOS
Over 900 General, Childrens, Instructional & "How To." Checked out for 1 week. We do not renew or reserve videos.

INTERLIBRARY LOAN
If we do not have a book you want, we can borrow it from another library. We ask $3.00 per book to defray the postage costs.

FINES
10¢ per day per book, $2.00 per day per video.

SPECIAL COLLECTIONS
South Dakota Books, Mystery, Western, Science Fiction, Large Print, Audio Cassette Tapes, and Talking Books in special areas.

PHOTOCOPIER
10¢ per copy. We can reduce and enlarge, as well as copy both sides of the paper.

COMPUTERS/SCANNER
Computers are available for use free of charge. Patrons are limited to 30 minutes per session and 2 sessions per day. All computers have Pentium 4 processors and are able to print to a laser printer. They also have a high-speed DSL connection that was donated by Golden West. We have a scanner for your pictures and a game computer (NO INTERNET) for your kids to play on while you look around.

ADULT BASIC EDUCATION/NEW READERS
Trained adults will tutor, on a 1 to 1 basis, adults who are unable to read. Adult basic education and a GED program are also available. For more information, call 673-4144.

BOOK DISCUSSION GROUPS
Spring and fall series, meeting 6 times per year sponsored by the South Dakota Humanities Council. Books may be purchased at the library.
